Game-Loop Update


This update's focus has been on improving the core game loop. There really isn't any more content from the last version. Instead development has been on making the first few minutes of gameplay more fun and engaging. A lot of the new features you'll see were developed after receiving feedback and discussing possible improvements, so thank you to everyone who has played and commented on the game here on Itch and on Discord. 

As always, feedback is more than welcome. If you'd like to give more in-depth feedback, I'd love to know how you feel the gameplay has improved (or not improved) over the last version. Is it more engaging? Is progress more obvious? Are there any graphical issues? Things that don't look right or could look better? 

The UI is a first draft prototype, so if you have any suggestions on how it could work better in your experience, please let me know. The next update will incorporate any feedback and I'll be starting on a real design for the UI instead of just white boxes.

Fish Feeding - The fish feeding mechanics have been updated to allow for more controlled feeding and evolution.

Fish List - A list of all fish in the pond allows players to quickly find all of their fish and see which one's are hungry.

Currency/Shop and Day Cycle - Mechanic to allow the game to progress in a more controlled manner.

New Tutorial - Simpler story and more instructions for all of the new mechanics.
